Hannah is a West Virginia native with a passion for the outdoors. Her love of the outdoors led her to receive a B.S. in Recreation, Parks, and Tourism Resources at West Virginia University. She is active in her local community, lending a hand to area non-profits whenever needed. She served as President of the WVU Sierra Student Coalition for three years during her time at WVU and served on the Monongalia Group of the West Virginia Sierra Club's Executive Committee for two years as the Conservation Officer then the Chair. As a West Virginia native, Hannah's passions concern the natural beauty of this Appalachian state. She has been trained by the Children and Nature Network as well as the Aldo Leopold Foundation to help children and adults appreciate their natural surroundings and the environment. Hannah served as an Emergency Relief Organizer through Aurora Lights during the Elk River chemical spill of January 2014. On a warm, sunny evening you'll usually find Hannah in the medicine garden, drinking IPAs, or hiking.
